Our Story

If you want something done right, you’ve got to get right with yourself—a lesson nooma founder, Casey Cox, knows all too well.

Reflecting on past personal challenges, disappointments, and heartache, Casey was looking for something—anything—to restore her balance. Having always sought comfort in movement, she started taking fitness classes. But they felt disconnected, rigid, and clinical—the opposite of what she needed to heal.

Through fastidious trial and error, she created a new type of movement that pulled in techniques from yoga, Pilates, weight training, cardio, and dance—and added detoxifying infrared heat and bilateral stimulation to create a sweat that released like no other.

This multi-pronged approach had a profound effect on her overall wellbeing; for the first time in a long time, Casey could breathe and nooma was born.
