No. You don't need a fitness background to become a Nooma franchise owner. We'll provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you confidently lead your studio.
Nooma is an owner-operator franchise because our community is built on relationships. We believe the best member experience happens when owners are actively present and engaged in their studios.

Most franchisees open their studio about nine months after signing their franchise agreement. The exact timeline depends on site selection, construction, and local permitting.

Our fitness franchise support includes training in operations, customer service, marketing, technology, and class programming, along with ongoing coaching and support as you grow your studio.

We're intentionally expanding into communities that align with the Nooma mission and are positioned for long-term success. Available territories are discussed during your discovery call to ensure the right fit for both you and the brand.

Absolutely. We encourage prospective franchisees to visit one of our Nooma studio locations to experience the community, culture, and member experience firsthand before beginning the franchise process.

Yes. Qualified franchisees may be eligible for area development agreements if they're interested in opening multiple Nooma locations.

No. Nooma does not offer direct or indirect financing. Many franchisees pursue SBA 7(a) loans or work with franchise-specific lenders such as Benetrends or FranFund. We'll discuss common financing paths during the discovery process.
